If you asked me to do a blindfold test of the guitar, I'd say it was a epiphone LP if not for the 25.5 scale, and if you didn't allow me to feel headstock, Id say its a schecter. So overall fit + finish is breddy gud if you ask me... just needs a new bridge (saddles inlets look like they've been fucked with, like the guy tried to make smaller ones wider, not knowing he prob just had it on upside down). Plus it needs new pups cause those are dogshit. A good mod platform being its only two knobs. Not very complicated.

Maybe after playing the FG for a while it will open up a bit and once I get some wear on the neck it will feel a little better? Idk, but the LS-TA is a phenomenal acoustic for the money. Crazy thing is, while at GC the other day, I tried a few LL-TA's thinking they'd be comparable to either my FG5 or my LS-TA but the two used ones they had felt like trash. They had grody ass strings with gunk all in the winds and of course they still had that retarded clear pickguard, which I remove all pickguards from my yammies. I think it boils down to how well you take care of them. My LS-TA vs any random LS-TA from some greasy fingered mouth breather is prob gonna sound/feel like twice the guitar simply bc I take care of my shit, and put factory strings on it (Elixir 80/20 bronze) and use string fuel to keep it lubed, oil the fretboard, etc. Over years that shit makes a difference

Chibson's in, boisIf you look real close the finish ain't too great but after taking all the plastic off it, getting a fresh set of locking tuners on, a big wipe down with some soapy water and oiling the fretboard down, def looks like i spent more than 170 on it kekpickups sound better than i thought they would too. expected to have to swap them out but they're not microphonic or anything. threw some flatwounds on there, 10-48. thing was half intonated out the box, e and g could use a little tweak. there's a finish problem with the gibson logo underneath the clear but i was gonna cover that shit up anyways. 7/10 would probably buy another one again
