wouldn't go that far but top 5 for sure

>Black Shabbat

Has anyone ever figured out just what the album cover means?

I figured the little midgets were The Mob and the flag they're carrying has The Rules written on it in midget language

>Mob rule is when a large, angry crowd takes control or forces its will through violence and fear. It ignores laws, courts, and police. People in a mob often act on strong emotions instead of reason
seems pretty self explanatory

>bunch of people wrapped in burlap sacks like monty python's holy grail peasants
>mob rules
Thank you for your input.

Do you really need to be explained how faceless violent savages surrounding parchment hung like a public decree but merely covered in blood is the artist's depiction of "mob rule"? Are you that stupid or are you just being facetious?

Huh, i was looking at the painting, and i saw the signature showing that was drawn by greg hildebrandt.
He was a famous fantasy illustrator. he drew mtg cards too.

I really liked "The Sign of the Southern Cross" from this album, but i either didnt listen to the rest of mob rules. Or i didnt remember much of the album

Great production because it was when everyone wanted to sound like Back In Black
>>
>>131293102
was back in black that good? Did it really impact other bands production that much?
>>
>>131286042
that's not Dehumanizer

The big booming Mutt Lange production on BIB was considered a landmark of hard rock production and all the heavy rock bands in '81 were trying to sound like it. Fair Warning is another example of such an album.

Judas Priest stands out as an exception and none of their albums had outstandingly great production.
