Can't relate. The music I make is better than anything I have ever listened to and I have listened to somewhere in the range of 10'000 albums in the last 20 years spanning every continent and genre.

I have bunch of song ideas, some of which I think are really good, and most of which are partly finished. supposedly music is the thing I'm most passionate about, but I rarely find the motivation to put the work in that I know is necessary. I've been like this for more than 10 years and have constantly thought about how to fix it but still haven't figured out anything that actually did the trick.

But yes, I'm sure that album is "9/10"... Get some perspective it's much better for your mental health. Music is about expression and beauty, elevating yourself and sharing that with other people it's not about status or ego... Even Mozart felt insecure next to Bach... It's not healthy... You must bee yourself :)
