In the grand scheme of things, the Doors were nothing more than a psychedelic band from LA. Their cultural impact is a few great songs featured in popular movies. Whereas someone like Frank Zappa seems like an all out assault against convention and would make a CIA in the Cold War similar to Jackson Pollack. I haven’t done the research on the Dead, but they’re seem more likely culprits of MK Ultra operations instead of the Doors.
