when did you realize 4chan and reddit are basically the same thing especially when it comes to music?there's huge overlap between redditors and channers, mostly it's the same people which explains why both places are shit and full of talk about shit music
>>131348869At least there is variety there, you can have ''''discussions'''' about any genre, here its extremely narrow
it will only get worse, reddit is actively waging war on its users to get rid of as many as possible.Where else are they going to go but here?
>>131348869/mu/ doesn't like EDM
>>131348895Music discussion on /mu/ is basically kpop, wpop and then you have a bunch of rockists whining about every other genre that exists.
It wasn’t this way until 2016 when a bunch of “Redditors” (HRC campaign spooks) started spending too much time on 4chan to counterbalance the success of TheDonald on Reddit and to infiltrate and dismantle the different strands of GG outgrowth from this platform that had helped him a lot. It’s only crystallized in recent years because everywhere you can talk about music online has to be a political safe space for the left because all the interesting autistic hyper fixated music guys trooned out and became hyper fixated on political boundary signaling. But there was a point where this website genuinely distinguished itself from Reddit, and it was a good time to be alive.
>>131348869reddit is entirely betterexcept you have to sign upso i do both anonymouslyand report anyone bitching about reddit spacing
>>131348869there are still some "patricians" here so I prefer this site for better obscure shit, although they appear less and less frequently
>>131348869>there's huge overlap between redditors and channersthere's an overlap but I wouldn't say it's very big, a lot of redditors get really upset when they see people say nigger, faggot, tranny, etc. and stop coming here
>>131349262nowe just report you and got back to r*ddit to find better porn to masturbate to
