Close to the Edge is a timeless masterpiece, it's absolutely incredible and a milestone of human achievement. I adore progressive rock, I always come back to it. However there is a certain branch of prog rock that just concentrates on the virtuosic-complex-noodling around, I hate that type of prog, it's pointless. wanna listen to my prog rock album?
