I'm not saying that's necessarily true, but that's how it always comes off to me. I'm told this is merely banter, but it's an odd concept to me in that it's usually way more venomous than what I'm accustomed to as shit-talk amongst 'muricans. I can relate more readily to a guy that also lives in America, 3000 miles away, than a Euro could to someone 300 miles away, distinctively separated by several cultures and languages. That's a wild concept to me. I understand that it's light-hearted jabbing, but try that same 'bantz' while in America, at best, everyone will think you're a massive douchebag. At worst, you get shot.
