What are some low rated albums you've seen on RYM that deserve better scores.I think this kid rock album is a good example. It's got "Bawitdaba" and "I am the bullgod". It's not as bad as people rate it.

it's a one song album. that he parlayed that into a career as long as he has had is something I guess, but he kinda sucks. zero music impact on anything ever.

Ok since almost nobody else submitted options I wanna share one. "Talking Heads does tropical salsa funk" should've been a knock out of the park but fans seem to not like it much. I theorize the well was tainted for fans because of the band drama and Tina/Chris and David wanting to murder eachother by the end of it. But I personally think it's awesome. (Jerry is innocent).

Not even is an actually great hard punk album, but it's the first real rock 'n' roll record from Spain, and for that alone, it deserves a much higher rating.

For an album with 10k ratings : 3.63 (right now, but the threshold rises every year) Album with 5k ratings ~3.65 But the difference isn't really due to size (nightmare has 2k ratings on aoty vs ~6.5k on rym) but demographic, rym has way more "metal elitists", and the user base is significantly older. Hybrid Theory is rated 3.52 on rym, ranked around 8100 of all time. Meanwhile, it is rated 84 on aoty, and ranked 776 oat.
