How does the music industry change?

An even better one would be Eminem or Billie Joe Armstrong dies in a plane crash in 2001. If only...

She's not nearly as culturally impactful relative to her fame compared to someone like Kanye or even Billie Eilish. She's just a good voice and a pretty face.

A significantly less powerful Jay Z, meaning less commercial pressure for/from black artists. Those godawful rock revival acts (TRUE butt rock) like The Vines, The Hives, The Strokes, The The's, etc., get pushed even harder and don't get abandoned for the quick rap buck. Rock is back in full swing.

It's a bleak outlook for music either way.

eminem died in like 2007 and they replaced him with some italian guy
once he started wearing the army hats, you know that was the replacement
