okay i was thinking about this earlier, and im probably retarded for even thinking and posting this, but i feel like mysteriis dom sathanas is barely black metal...mainly because the production is way too clean, i think thats the biggest thing. but also because of the way the songs are written. like they change riffs way too often throughout the songs, instead of spanning the same riff play like 16 times like most black metal songs it switches more often. and i also think atillas vocals take away from le cold evil atmosphere.the live in leipzig versions of the songs felt way more like true black metal than the album recordings imo.
