Just relistened to it the other day. It's a beautiful moment, even if I find the expression a bit saccharine in points like on Orange County or The Sweet Prince. I wouldn't cut anything on thematic merit though, it's a proper album through and through.

I skip the second half of The Manifesto (really like the first half), The Plastic Guru and Damascus. Love pretty much everything else though.

It's funny, I feel like The Mountain is Gorillaz' Moon Shaped Pool moment, and Damascus is the closest thing to a "hit" that's on the album. Most of the album is very meandering and contemplative.
