any zoomer tracks.https://youtu.be/6swmTBVI83kgayest shit ever
Country music is overhated but it's also really easy to make fun of. People think 9/11 is when country music died but I disagree, if anything country music got a second-wind after 9/11, it really didn't die until 2016 when a certain political figure make country artists abandon their principles and become bitchy perceptual victims instead
>>131444347>Late 50s to mid 60s pop music is absolutely God-awful unless you count rock as popthat was when things improved a lot and housewife pop slop started to disappear from the charts

The Marvelettes: Deliver: The Singles 1961-1971 [Motown, 1993]Where Diana Ross and Martha Reeves pumped personality, Gladys Horton (prettily gritty, as in "Please Mr. Postman") and Wanda Young (neatly sweet, as in "Don't Mess With Bill") took the Shirley Owens Everygirl Pledge. They were role players--proud but demure, neither pushover nor showoff. Twenty-eight of these 42 songs can be found on the old Anthology comp, including all the great ones (although not "Paper Boy": "Since the name of your paper is the Free Press/Give me one and you can sell the rest"). But Mr. Gordy wouldn't countenance a bad song--not on a 45, anyway--and unlike Diana and Martha, Gladys and Wanda were always amenable to letting Smokey or Holland-Dozier-Holland put words in their mouths. Which enabled them to lead or front Motown's only true girl group--except for Shirley's Shirelles, the best anywhere. A
(c)rap, if you wan't to call it music, it's not, and all of its variants
>>131444312rap and everything adjacent is obviously the worst, with particular emphasis on trap and reggayton.
>>131444371the big change was that rock/R&B sounds became normalized in pop and the wicky wacky orchestral stuff from the 50s disappeared

I only really like country when it's mixed with folk, like Bonnie Prince Billy
>>131446711worse than boring folk music stuff like joni mitchell even?
>>131446734folk is good faggot. agreed about Joni Mitchell though

>>131444358Country died when the Nashville sound became a thing.
>>131444872Reggaeton definitely fits. It's basically between this and hick-hop as to which is a more worthless and artless genre.

Polka music or anything with bagpipes. Crunkcore is also shit that absolutely nobody asked for
