Such a lovely shade of blue. Goes well with the carpet, another great choice. Looks very plush, a lot of extra money was spent to upgrade several tiers. Not my style of furniture but still in good taste. As are the pictures. Clearly a home, not an apartment. #1 Dad hat and the tastefulness of the room suggests there is a woman in the home.
The gear speaks for itself. Quite a bit of money there in guitars, amps, cabs, and pedals. Thought was put into the arrangement. This is quite the room.

I am doing more finger exercises to just be more efficient across the fretboard. Especially getting the pinky in there, playing a bunch of blues stuff made me copy a lot of those guys and they just like never use the pinky in solos it's insane. Getting better with that. Need to get some more exercises with chords like changes and such. That and actually playing with beat I can do standard strumming patterns but I'd like to do more complicated stuff and as I am white I do not have any sense of rhythm I need to practice more need to be better

hell yeah man you can definitely learn groove. look up rich browns bass metronome training videos and just follow along with basic strums, will help I think. I learned bass first so I have a very strong pinky but I find unless you have very long very skinny fingers it’s hard to get a good purchase without muting adjacent strings by accident. maybe that’s good for electric I don’t really want that on acoustic

The pinky training has definitely been paying off, I stared with like 20 minutes max before my fretting hand started to feel a bit strained, now I can do close to 30-40 minutes before feeling any tiredness or whatever. Still get so frustrated trying to learn groove and rhythm haha. Definitely going to check the rich brown thing hopefully it'll help
>>
>>131456183
that’s good! having the pinky available opens up a lot of possibilities when playing. keep working at it man, you’re gonna make it

I just refretted for the first time on my old Framus guitar.
I had to shave down the tang on the first fret to get it to fit in the slot. It was driving me nuts trying to figure out why it was sitting proud, because all of the other frets (including the 0-fret) went in pretty reasonably. Then I stuck a piece of paper in the slot and traced the profile on the fretboard. That's when I realized the tang was too deep.
I still need to tighten the truss rod and check for fret heights, but the damn thing is playable again after years of sitting on the wall, fretless.
I feel like I've had an epiphany.

Maybe everyone else except you has stuff to do on a Saturday, like family, friends, hobbies, even practicing guitar like I've been (string skipping alternate picking)

In other words you have nothing better to be doing on Saturday than posting on 4chan because you have no family, friends, or hobbies and you wish you were busy practicing string picking/alternate picking instead of mindlessly sinking time into a dead website.

That about sum up your post?
