What’s a good set of tuners and nut to get for my Fender starcaster? It’s a cheap Strat I got back in the 2000’s for Christmas one year that I want to set up to be a good player.I figure with a good set of tuners, a good nut, and some mean ceramics I could have a bad little guitar. Idk I want to stick with single coils, but I want to simultaneously go for a post grunge/new mentalish sound. I’m not sure that’ll happen with singles, but idk how else to describe what I like to play/listen to. Current tuning is drop C if that helps.
