Pulling inspiration from younger (and inferior imo) bands like Nirvana and Bikini Kill always felt slightly misguided. A real musical "how do you do, fellow kids?" Also worth noting that their chapter was written pre-divorce so it feels slightly incomplete compared to the others. I really want to read Kim's memoir at some point.

It's closed now for a long time but it was called Looney Tunes and I remember there being a few boxes of dub 45's in the back of the store for like a pretty cheap discount. decades later i know so much more about reggae and dub. wish I could revisit with the knowledge Ive gained since and get some rare picks and finds.
