Hi, guys! Everyone who's digging 90s underground Memphis rap here should know that there are a lot of tapes lost or unreleased. Well, this is the case for this one: the project by a Memphis rapper Da Dirty Thug (real name: Demond Tate), supposedly released in 1997/1998, produced by DJ Big Tim from M.O.B. Recordz, his own local label.It is known that it is probably already done and exists, since Tim were telling people to go buy it from stores on his Episode II’s Side A Outro. It has about 14-15 songs, according to D.D.T. himself.But not even D.D.T. has the tape anymore, he ended up losing his master copy when he went to prison. The only song we can hear from it, is “Tryna Cross A Killa”, since it’s featured on DJ Big Tim – Episode II as a promo to this project.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWjep-LveAcThis project was probably released on cassette tape or CD format, spread to corner stores of North Memphis (supposedly not far away from Joseph & Decatur streets, since that's where DJ Big Tim's posse are hailing from). Maybe you can find the local guys who demolish Section 8 housing in Memphis after the units are destroyed beyond repair and see if they have a big lost and found box of these old tapes.

>>131492808Nah. DJ Big Tim passed away (may God rest his soul), and D.D.T. lost his tape, so why there's anything to talk about with him in the first place? Plus, I'm not even from Memphis, so I'm really far away from their underground scene. I'm not even from USA, if we start speaking on that matter. I think the only people that can have this tape are either Tim's family, rappers that were under M.O.B. Recordz (DJ Big Tim's label), or gatekeepers.
