Memphis rap is far from irrelevant. Lisa from the K-pop group Blackpink just dropped a Memphis influenced track. Key Glock remains as popular as ever. A$AP Rocky also carried the Memphis sound on his latest album. Drake's Iceman has several tracks with Memphis rap instrumentals. Even Kanye's retarded ass did a Memphis style track on Bully.

Million Dollar Baby was a huge pop hit and that was a Memphis beat. At peak trap saturation, the Memphis scene didn't have nearly as much saturation. That being said, outside of phonk-based sounds, you won't have a pure Memphis beat either in the mainstream outside of a few cases
