Kind of a weird question but why do some bands release one album and then disappear for 7-10 years before making a comeback? It's not even like they got famous during that time it's just a pattern i have been noticing a lot lately

>>131508281Because if you're a "band" it implies that you have multiple people needing to meet in a location or at least align schedules. In most uses of the word it also implies that you're dealing with people who use instruments.All of that taken together means a high investment of time and money as well as heavy coordination .

They make a song which resonates with you and you get the impression that they must resonate with each other, but that isn't the case. A singer needs a guitarist or keyboard. They both need a drummer. A drummer will be happy wherever he can play, unless he's exceptional. It's just 0's and 1's, not a mystical, magical bond.
