When I was 11 years old I made a headcannon in which The Beatles and The Doors were the greatest 60s competitors and I genuinely thought The Doors must have been at the same level of popularity as The Beatles (I preferred The Doors)

The Beatles are fucking weird. you listen to them for the first time and it's like you've unlocked a new dimension, they're almost too fucking good. but I wouldn't go out of my way to play a Beatles tune if that makes sense, definitely understand how they've inspired so many bands tho.The Doors are this thing I had when I was 16 and thought it was the coolest music ever, but it faded away pretty quick.Now that I'm a grown man (25) I'd much rather listen to The Stones. thx 4 reading my blog
