I was gonna say earlier but I'm not really an expert in this, that I liked that you are leaning into 'South American rhythms,' because it's a good thing to carry that forward and you are doing it well. I think you can figure out what you need to do if you want to make your music more marketable. Like I was really drawn to the heaviness of the sounds, but I like sounds that a big and fuzzy or vague. Like these pulsating white noiseish synths, or maybe it's the reverb on them. They are shaped like a giant sake made of interlocking white and yellow oak leaves in my head (imagine like an ethereal parade float passing by). It's a cool sound but for a larger audience you could apply the same rhythmic knowledge to more accessible sounds, some of these drums sound so good too. It all depends what you want to do. You don't want to destroy your identity either or what you want to say. The rhythm is there and it's all enough for me, but you can always try adding more melodic stuff too. Don't be afraid to create works that feel redundant to you if they keep you creating and sharp. I don't know what you are using to make these sounds, but you might enjoy a drum machine or groovebox. Just don't stop, you get into it what you take out of it. we are all matrix beings in the meta-quantum simulation that super-computes all the possible variations of sound and sight. Thankfully for us sound has the largest spectrum and we have the most control over it compared to light waveforms. When you realize a piece of music on the other end of the metaverse is someone on an imageboard who is floored to be hearing your exact music and needs someone to make it very badly, so make it good!
