DEBATE: is using midi guitar subhuman? where do (you) draw the line in terms of virtual instruments? midi drums? midi bass? surely using virtual instruments is less subhuman than AI
>>131629488personally, i draw the line at midi drums and synths/keys. it's never been easier to record bass and guitar. you could buy a $100 bass and $150 guitar off amazon (i've done this irl) and record album-quality songs if you have a few pirated waves plugins. shit's too easy even if you do it the real way. midi is fuckin cringe for guitars and bass. (midi synth bass is ok tho)
