Hearing loss is gay and negatively affects your ability to listen to music. There's absolutely no reason to risk damage if you can avoid it. Also, how do you not hate the feeling of having your ear drums blasted? Maybe its fun in the moment, but its not fun once the show is over and you hear ringing hours later, lying in what should be a silent bed.
I always do. The last show I was at I thought i was good until the shit got REAL loud.
