Guy > Ian
I WOKE UP THIS MORNING
>>131685457I have to say cassette j-cards are aesthetic as hell even though I don't like the format overall
>>131685466His post-Rites/pre-Fugazi band One Last Wish is underrated. Wish they had more than 23 minutes of recorded music.
>>131685457why did guy do a chowder impression during the hook of smallpox champion
>>131685508What a trackhttps://youtu.be/_SEK73r-cjk>>131685532For me it's the IWANTOUTIWANTOUTIWANTOUTIWANTOUT from Full Disclosure
>>131685494>J cardsNew lingo acquired. Can't wait to drop this term in the future.
>>131685587Just wait until you find out about "obi strips"
>>131685597I'm at thread limit. But you could do a thread on favorite j-cards. Here's mine.
>>131685508one last wish imo THE best pre-fugazi band of theirs. the songwriting was so good
>>131685457>Guy > Ianwhat does that mean? picciotto is singing throughout this one?might explain why it's the only fugazi album i like. even bought the LP decades ago
no nsa no satellite could map our veins
>>131689585Critique and salve me bby
>>131685466WITH A PIECE OF PAST CAUGHT IN MY THROAT
>>131685494Why?
>>131693710NTA, but a lot of new cassettes and players are pretty low quality.
>>131685466THE WORLDISMYFUSE
>>131685457ian is a shitty vocalist, trustfunder or not
>>131693890I forget exactly the component but there's some part of the mechanism that used to be produced in bulk and nobody makes it anymore or some shit like that. Whatever they're doing now is apparently objectively worse. Still though, old cassette decks pop up at thrift stores pretty often for cheap. I found a mint in-box one from the 80s at my thrift store a few months back. It's a good format for DIY releases imo and I'll snag a cheap cassette at the thrift store if something cool pops up but most of my listening just happens with files
