How should I organize music? Currently it's a spaghetti of Youtube bookmarks, almost random Spotify playlists and some songs/albums I downloaded to my drive.

Pick a service or media player and stick to it. Only local files need to be organized. No point wasting time by organizing playlists that could disappear or have songs pulled, imo.

For the longest time I would upload all my music into itunes. I didn't listen to it on there, but its easy to edit tags in it, and it will rename/move folders as needed. Takes a lot of the tedious work out of the process if you've got like a terabyte of tunes.

I'm extremely anal and one of the better parts of streaming is the lack of anxiety over organizing all my music properly. It's not my job to deal with all the meta tags and whatnot, and that sure is nice.
