Say what you want about them but you gotta admire that they came from fuck all and managed to conquer the world. They were 4 working class Liverpool boys with no connections, no rich relatives, no nothing. They reinvented rocknroll which was a dying genre and managed to make it the dominated genere of music for the next 50 years to come. They worked themselves up and changed the landscape of the commercial music industry forever.

overrated. until abby road ,I didn't even pay attention to them. Paul and John were the band. Ringo was probably the worst drummer I've ever seen. I guess what I'm saying is... take away Paul, you have an average band for the time. And the guys still going!! Second to none!
every band has at least one guy you cant make it without. The Beatles had Paul, the Beach Boys had Brian. Im not dumping on either one band but Pet Sounds album was I've ever heard and I've heard a lot. Without giving away my age, I saw the Eagles when they were Linda Ronstats backup band at the Trubadour.
