Yes you can make something of a "real" song by distorting the sound and splicing all over and using it creatively, but... what is the point of that? Think about it rationally. But why the fuck would you do that when you can just pick up an instrument and do the same thing with a digital program or just make what you want with your own instruments? It's like ordering a bunch of sandwiches, taking certain parts of each one, and stuffing it all together between two slices of bread and calling it a new sandwich. Which I mean, it would be on a technical level, but why the fuck would you not just make a regular ass sandwich your own way? It's just completely contradictory to music itself, and anyone with some integrity as a musician knows it is not worth respecting or taking seriously.
