Mostly because Layne knows he has reached the point of no return in his addiction and that his days are counted. You can hear that the light has left him and that he gives one last excellent performance before disappearing for good. It's like his own funeral in a way. The rest of the band are also super tight and give chills every time.
>>131826324don't care much for the layne myth at this point but the thought of jerry being super doped up and barely able to rehearse the show then knocking it out of the park with his perfect playing here always fucked me up. goes to show how incredibly talented he was.sean kinney's drumming is wonderful here as well. especially on no excuses.
I liked it but always seemed to me the guitars sounded too tinny.Cobain had the right idea to cheat and add a bit of effect to the guitar, which made it sound more resonant.Cantrell's solos can't work on these tinny slappy guitars, he needed to sound a bit fuller
>>131826339Yes! The riff in Brother always gives me chills in a way no other song can
>>131826324its yung lean and bladee
>whiny annoying vocals>greatest live performance of all timeshit singers ruin otherwise great bands
>>131826369The COVID-19 aftermath in a prime example
>>131826324He sounds like shit my dude. Love hate love was the only live performance where layne ever impressed me.
>>131826324Would layne still have given up the way he did if demri parrott didn't die?
