It's one of the good rap albums. But wu-tang and anything wu-tang adjacent is typical "i don't listen to rap but I want to look knowledgeable anyway" picks. Especially liquid swords, or "swuh-ards" as 90s new york niggas would pronounce it.

I enjoy aesop but this album is way too synth heavy for me. I think aesop is best on blockhead beats. Although he recetly started making some cool ones himself, not too many tho

Definitely a natural fit, but he tends to get pretty self-indulgent and ramble with blockhead beats for some reason.
Personally really loved Malibu Ken, always wished he'd do a volume 2 because Purple Moss is one of his best tracks.
