Did Geordie Creep explain exactly what happened at the start of the concert? Because I feel that even in today’s climate, things like this could be forgiven as long as the perpetrator takes full responsibility for it.

First off, I would like to say that I hope the victim is safe, and Geordie doesn't end up hurting anyone else. What Geordie did, was absolutely deplorable.

I have been part of the black midi community since 2019, when I was 14 years old, with Schlagenheim. At first, I was unsure about their music, it just sounded like noise to me. But one day it clicked, and I fell in love. Cavalcade came out and the same thing happened. And then I fell even more in love, then Hellfire happened, and it solidified them as being my favourite band.

I went to see Geordie live earlier this year. I wondered whether to go meet him after the show or not. I was too anxious to do so, so I left. I had dreams of becoming an artist, making small paintings and giving it to the black midi band before they broke up. One painting for each album, and one for each main member of the band, as a gift. I loved the little interviews I would watch of Geordie.

I'm still a little in shock, and it pains me to say this but I will not be supporting Geordie anymore. I hope by writing this, some of you are able to resonate and relate to this post.
