better than polvo and superchunk

Yes and most 90s indierock. Especially the deluxe version (which includes Vs the greatest of all time EP) + Vee Vee + Speed of Cattle. The other 2 albums from that era are weaker but still have a handful of great songs each.
They sound the way I feel Nirvana wanted to sound with In Utero.

I like all of these bands AoL, polvo, superchunk, bailter space, pavement, bts, modest mouse, nirvana, afghan whigs. but billy won with siamese dream.

Siamese Dream is solid.

I can't experience any other classic in the same way. Siamese Dream has such a high information density. And the guitar tone/melodies sound ideal to me subjectively.

Not even the best band from NC or the Chapel Hill scene.

That was Eric Bachmann from archers shilling himself. https://desuarchive.org/mu/thread/110199486/#q110199556
He threw a tantrum when he wasn’t allowed his own personal shill thread on his birthday

They are so criminally underrated that Numero Group has the rights to their album (via Simple Machines) and won't even consider reissuing it, while making a pretty penny off Duster socks and making Leaves Turn Inside You progressively uglier with each reissue.

Did the early Smashing Pumpkins imitate this forgotten band from chicago?
or was it just the 'sound' and infrastructure of that area that makes them seem similar

some of the most 90s sounding music recorded in 1988

The dude's like 60.
And a ultra blue sky type liberal.
He has a song on a later album that's about how bad hospitals treat old black people.
He's never even heard of 4chan.

Lots of old liberals have posted here. Did you even read the thread? Nice try Eric
>>
Since this thread is about 90s indie rock, you see this shit?
Some crazy ultra autist recorded every show he went to in Chicago in the 90s and people are slowly uploading it to

https://archive.org/details/@aadam_jacobs_collection

thousands and thousands of shows.

I look up to him. Thousands of hours of lived experience, given away for free. I thought /mu/ would be more like this melomaniac instead of culture war gooners.
