Where's the Elephant 6 nerds at? Need to see more discussion about the new Olivia Tremor Control album. Anyone heard it yet? I think it really lives up to their first two albums.

>>131897765I have heard it already, actually right after it leaked so I have had some time to digest it. I probably prefer it to dusk but Black Foliage is in it's league of it's own. It might be their most consistent record in terms of having no long droney sound collage moments. My favorite songs are Garden of Light, The Same Old Place, and Fossil Faun. It's a remarkable work and the only thing holding it back from being AOTY is that the Avalanches also dropped an amazing record>>131898434slsk brotha
>>131898504Yeah right now as crazy at it is to say I think it's their best although I agree it's very close with Black Foliage. It's surprisingly accessible but at the same time has their most mature and complex songwriting I think. The Same Old Place is AMAZING, Bill Doss was really peaking as a songwriter before we lost him
