It's just incredibly mid as a whole and not even worth making memes overBesides the obvious Nordvrede comparisons, Kaevum is a decent Gorgoroth worship band, but apparently when you slap on anti-Semitic themes (which is all the rage these days with kids on TikTok), it tickles the taint of terminally online edgelordsThe first couple tracks are actually really good. Relentless drumming and riffs with typical folksy Norwegian crooning and screeching, but has long, exasperated howls which distinguishes it from Hat's genre standard vocals. The appeal wears off after a couple tracks though. Pentagram and Antichrist, this is not. Riffs start to sound like aimless noodling, drums get way too by-the-numbers, and the constant stretched-syllable wailing starts to get annoying as fuck. Anyone who says this is a masterpiece is a dipshit
