Like they're simuoltaneously this "conscious" act, but also afraid to say anything of meaning or value at all whatsoever beyond what can be reduced to muh feels based on vaguely shared social sentiment like "uhh, modern life scary and hard" like in OK Computer. Like never before has a band that has had literally nothing interesting to say had their cocks thoroughly sucked dry by the media and their dickriders, so much so that they'll disavow others for not being as annoyingly self-centered and not throwing as much nonsensical wispy fancy bullshit into their sound as they do.
