they had a similar problem on /his/ so the mods set it that threads there autosage when they're one week old. also on /vr/ threads autosage at two weeks old. those are the only boards i'm aware of with this feature.

The replies in those threads are hours apart and spaced out, though. The ones in Kpop or Wpop literally reach the triple digits in less than an hour. I'd rather have those threads up than someone remaking the same template threads: The Beatles / boyband pasta fag, Scaruffi review pasta fag, "Band just changed our name" pasta fag, Pepe spam in general, /pol/ spam in general, Single Kpop artists having their own dedicated general outside the Kpop general, etc. I'd get this if the bot threads were being bumped every 5 minutes, but they are literally low energy and low effort bumps every few hours compared to the waifufag threads being spammed or the template threads being reposted on and on while less active threads are bumped off the catalog if no one else is around to post and watch them before they prune. And most of all, at least they have music in them, it isn't some coomer just jerking off to a female idol or pop star.
