TPK was extremely rough. There's some really good tracks on there, but it's also nearly twice as long as any of their studio albums, so there's clearly plenty they would cut and it was just in an early draft stage. But if they were just going to do studio recordings of the best of TPK I can't see it taking them all/most of 2027 which is what Gerard seemed to imply when he confirmed live that they are taking 2027 off to make an album and will tour again 2028But then again, it was 2 years between Bullets and Three Cheers, 2 years between Cheers and Black Parade, and then 4 years between Parade and Danger Days. So if they expect an album to take a year maybe it is mostly already done
