>even on Halloween zero clubs or bars play any goth, darkwave, post punk, industrial, or fucking anything but normalfag music
Pisses me off so much every year, went to an awesome club set up in a cathedral but they're still just playing generic stupid normalfag music like anywhere else. Would it kill anyone to at the very least play Halloween by Siouxsie ON fucking Halloween?

sounds kinda Doorsy, which I guess makes sense because they got called "gothic" back in the day
>>
asking again from last thread:

'd like to hear some new wave or goth rock with some vaporwave gimmicks in it.

Tape warping effects, obvious sampling, pitched-down vocals, that kind of stuff.

Any such thing out there?

this stuff makes me seethe too, so this is why house parties are the move for halloween.
>>
>>132036891
they haven't got none of those effects, but vr sex's first album (human traffic jam) and the unarian dances ep from drab majesty have a very vapor/hypnagogic vibe. iirc they was mostly inspired by obscure late night tv segments from the early 90s (ufo stuff, self help tapes, etc).
htj scratches that itch so well that i'm annoyed that i can find anything else like it (their other albums are good, but they went for a more aggressive sound). nothing out there quite like their first.
