How do you manage to listen to that much in such time?
Like is it all washing over you all the time?
You ever have time to think about anything else?

Are those Beefheart albums more similar to Safe as Milk or TMR?
Afraid the former wasn't really my thing.
Maybe try Sprain - The Lamb as Effigy

Mostly fusion, with some oddballs thrown in

They sort of hang in a balance of the two but they lean towards TMR more. I'd recommend you listen to Clear Spot if you want more Beefheart honestly, to me it is the perfect synthesis of ideas grounded in blues rock formula like Safe as Milk while not being afraid to step outside the bounds of music like on TMR. Clear Spot is my favourite Beefheart album and one of my favourite albums period. Extremely formative

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XF177Aj59C8 This is my favourite song but I wouldn't recommend you judge the entire album of this one because it goes in several directions. I also find it extremely funny lol what is he even fucking talking about i like to imagine hes speaking to like drake here because drizzy would be receptive to the ideas beefheart is selling

Excellent discography. Love Weather Report too.
Try Allan Holdsworth - Atacachron
Al Di Meola - Elegant Gypsy
Archie Shepp - The Magic of Ju-Ju and On This Night
Albert Ayler - The Last Album , Spiritual Unity, and Love Cry
Chromb! - Le livre des merveilles, Cinq
Mr. Bungle - California and Disco Volante

Check em
>Drizzy would be receptive
That makes it sound very interesting. Also sort of reminds me of the way one of my friends talks.

Which version? Seems there a promo and rerecorded vinyl version.

I like Tortoise. I've got those metal bands on my radar too.

I'm actually not sure.
This is what the version I listened to looked like.
Not sure if it's the "right" one but really enjoyed it.
