It reminded me of Jefre Cantu-Ledesma's Love Is a Stream. Around 2:20, the harmonic crescendo starts to fade away just when my ears were hoping it would last much longer and keep building. I'd add another minute and a half of increasing intensity at that point before moving towards the gradual fading out at the end. Great work, as always ;)>>132038383The idea of this whirlwind of fluid, watery, and accelerated sounds is really interesting. But despite its constant movement, I still find it somewhat static. It doesn't seem to have a clear direction. Perhaps it's the obsessive use of arpeggiated melodic patterns and the lack of a real tonal center that make it a bit hard for me to digest. I couldn't quite grasp what it was trying to convey.>>132039305HUMAN TEARS ON THE SAND is really beautiful, but it sounds a bit cluttered, at least on my sound system. Some elements that should feel closer end up sounding distant. At a certain point, the drums get overwhelmed by this huge wash of reverb in the background, which creates a somewhat intrusive resonance starting around 1:50.I'm just starting to listen to D·E·A·D· ·B·Y· ·L·O·O·P now.

>>132045981>https://kozyrev.bandcamp.com/track/ships>Interesting - can you tell us about your process in making this?sure, it's pretty simple. I wrote the sheet music and bought some violinists/cellists to record it through fiver. The piece is for two violins and two cellos with piano accompaniment along side various synths. I played the piano and synths myself. overall i spent a couple hundred dollars getting the instruments recorded. It's something like five movements each roughly three to four minutes in duration. As anon said earlier it begins pretty static mainly arpeggios symbolizing water but changes throughout the piece varying quite a bit. If i remember correctly my favorite part is around 11 minutes
>>132046089Oh wow, a BUDGET! I'm jealous, but it turned out great, and it's cool to hear about the hiring process. Do you ever perform/have stuff you composed performed live?
>>132046232Thank you, I appreciate it. No, i've never performed live and to be honest I don't feel drawn to. I much prefer producing/composing than performing. That being said If someone wanted to perform this I wouldn't stop them or charge them or anything like that. Yeah, a budget lol. I wish I had one again.
