Saw them live, the guitars were muddy and it had a sort of one woman show quality that felt a bit antiquated to me. The incorporation of recorded material was probably the most interesting part to me. Haven't listened to the LP, but wasn't really motivated to based on the performance I saw.

I honestly didn’t know where this came from or what core it was until I searched for it regarding Reddit to see what was posted about it

It does sound genuine and the chick is giving a good performance. The dudes just sound...fine. The production is fine. The guitars in the last song venture into great territory for about a minute, and that's the peakthey're probably a good band to see live for the sole purpose of trying to pick up loose women. 5/10
