It folds too! With the wheel off, you can slide it into itself and put flat against the fork, so you don't have to carry it separately. You can still find them on aliexpress if you search for folding fender, it's the rear one from the set. Without a bottom tube you kinda need a full-size front fender, otherwise you get wet up to your knees from every puddle.
If I need to take the rear wheel off too, I unclip these SKS fittngs and curl it up, with frame folded fully it won't uncurl into the top tube.

I reckon I've put around ~700 miles on this thing so far this year. I got it at a garage sale for free. I had the rear wheel bearing completely fail about 100 miles ago but I got it fixed for about $15 using eBay parts. I take it on mountain bike trails all the time. I love it!

Me after completing a 130km ride recently

Found the frame in the bush, put other parts from another salvaged bike (had a problem with pedals, they didn't stay at 180° but one pedal wobbled from 150 to 180°, I replaced the parts and the problem reoccured and I didn't bother figuring it out since it's actually a pain in the ass to repair 40 year old shit)

Now my bike is a single speed (alright for my flat city) and I found another rusty abandoned bike from the 90s. It has a 7 speed hub gear (sachs super 7) and I will put those wheels with hub gear on my bike once the new tires arrive

The 130km ride was pretty hilly and was annoying with a single speed so I want some speeds

My friend who owns a 1500€ bike who I met at the end of my ride was like: "YOU RODE WITH THAT!?!?!? O.o"

My shartmart agressive geometry mountain bike shaped object winter project. It's got an Aliexpress fork on it, stiffer rear spring and $40 Aliexpress 4 piston brakes that I haven't mounted yet. Ignore the cable shitters on it now. It's got like a 64 degree head tube now with the 130mm fork. It has a high bottom bracket too which will help when I mid drive convert it. It's got a steel rear triangle but the heavy fork actually makes it balanced somehow.

Specialized Hardrock made with whatever parts I could salvage from my pile of scrap bikes.
Wally-World bike pogo stick fork, the only front brake assembly I could find that wasn't completely seized, ancient thumb shifter, busted rack held together with zipties, cranks with very worn chainrings (no front derailleur, I just keep it in the low gear anyways,) clapped-out seat on with a tube that's too small so I have it duct taped to the frame so it only spins a bit. And a milk crate.
I call it the Crackrock.
It's like the bike equivalent of a farm truck. I ride it maybe a thousand feet to grab mail or whatever, and when I'm not using it it just sits outside against the steps.

it gives you a little bit more bottom end with your brake pressure, its useful when its wet, you can really grip it and rip it even harder than usual and lock up the wheel even with a soaked pad and braking surface
normal braking though its almost no difference at all, because all its really doing is mitigating a little bit of the frame flexing when braking very hard, the scenarios where you brake hard enough to flex the frame are few and far between as is, and the actual impact that has on braking performance is small

but it looks cool

got scammed off 50€ in a bike shop for wanting to unstuck the seatpost of a bike thats probably worth like 100€ total

just realized the rear wheel is VERY offset to the left, almost thought it was completelly bent or something but the wheel is in good condition, its just the way the bike is i guess
the brakes were slightly adjusted to compensate for this but not nearly enough, so the left rear brake is completelly done for while the right rear brake is virtually brand new, unused
I adjusted the compensation to be even more extreme and now hopefullyi the good brake on the right will make contact earlier than the flat one on the left

Also tightened the front brakes further as i didnt tighten it nearly enough and it had tons of leeway

your rim may not be dished i.e. whoever built it didn't tighten the right spokes and loosen the left spokes so that the rim pulled to the center over the cogs. if so, then the rim is pulled equally and centered over the hub flanges (like a front wheel) but not the real center including the cassette also. or maybe the cassette was changed to more cogs but it probably wouldn't fit into the dropouts on the frame in that case.
or, the stays on the frame that hold the dropouts maybe got bent in a crash.
it's weird that you notice it on the brakes but the tire isn't rubbing the stays, though. not really sure what's going on but these are some things to check, anyway.

just go slowly. don't be on a schedule. if you get frustrated, take a break or walk away.
start by applying oil to each nipple where the spoke comes out and give it some time to penetrate, then wipe the surface off vigorously.

on the most bent area of the rim, only tighten/loosen maybe slightly over a quarter turn. then do the adjacent spokes less. use the valve (or its hole if you removed the tire/tube ) to keep track of going around the entire wheel. at the end of one circuit, squeeze the spokes together vigorously with your hands (wear gloves) all the way around and recheck, then repeat everything. actually, I usually start with the squeezing, too.
keep going until your calipers are not hitting/showing light through within reason (there's always at least a tiny bit, but that's ok)
if you have a flat spot in the roundness, that's a related procedure but the above is much more common.
if you do above, you will not fuck the wheel.
remember, if you twist the wrong way, you can undo it.
also, while twisting, pinch the spoke with your other hand's fingers. if the nipple is stuck and you feel the whole spoke "winds up" before the nipple gives way and turns independently, mark the turn you're going for from when it breaks free. then gently back off the turn to untwist the spoke; the spoke and nipple will usually untwist together, which is what you want.

I should have said: back off the nipple the amount the spoke twisted before it broke free, which will make everything right. I don't think the nipple and spoke move together (maybe?) but unscrewing the nipple the amount it twisted the spoke will make the increment correct. the act of doing so will untwist the spoke, but in my head I can't remember if the spoke and nipple move together or independently. but the technique works either way

The hub likely had 7 or 9 bearings on each side
Just count and see if it's closer to 14 or 18 bearings but it's extremely likely to have been 9 bearings and it's extremely likely they are the same size on both sides

I think I've posted this Giant somewhat recently. I've had it forever and it's one of two bikes that survived a fire years back.
Four stainless steel hose clamps have been holding the chainstay to the dropout for over 10 years now without a budge. I could get it fixed but it's come to be a symbol of triumph for this bike.
