Gonna go on a trip to Bulgaria, I want to see their cursed looking steam locos and aging fleet.
>>2073155Is it Bulgaria that has that narrow gauge train run entirely by children?
>>2073432Children's railway
>>2073432No, thats hungary. There's 2 amusement parks in bulgaria that is literally just a narrow gauge railway, both are not operated by children.
>>2073155You can go to Plovdiv and spend 1 Euro for literal nothing (sorry, only available in German and Bulgarian): https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kindereisenbahn_PlowdiwBut while in that area you actually can ride a scenic narrow gauge train: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Septemvri%E2%80%93Dobrinishte_narrow-gauge_lineBut the steam locos are used only on special occasions, they normally run diesels.
>>2073155Bulgaria is a really terrible place.
>>2073432there's one of that kind in Minsk, capital of Belarus - a children's railway in a large park, "fully operated by teenagers"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children's_Railroad_(Minsk)
>>2073155We have a 2-12-4 tank engine, we also have some german style locos. I've never seen a working steam engine irl because they don't run them often here in bulgaria, well at least not on the mainline, there probably are some tourist railways that regularly run steam locos but I don't have any means of transportation so I haven't been to them.
