Rec me bikes similar to picrel: Giant Attend CS 1 (which i am having a very hard time of finding)
>hub gear
>perfect diamond frame (slightly downward-sloping top tube is acceptable like picrel)
>rim or disc gears
>front suspensions
>that cargo thing behind the saddle

You just made this thread so someone could get mad at you for not checking the catalog, didn't you
>>
>>2076423
I'm the OP of the other thread. Do you really think I learned enough about bikes to have such specific criteria in this thread?
>>
>>2076419
>hub gear
>rim or disc gears
Lol
>front suspensions
Fucking why? The "suspension" on these things is crap and just adds useless weight.
>>2076424
To be fair this guy knows as much as you do
>>
>>2076432
i meant rim or disc brakes.
>>
>>2076439
Ok and what the fuck is hub gear supposed to mean. Internally geared hub?
>>
>>2076440
not him but that's a commonly used term.
>>
>>2076441
Ok well I learned something new then.
>>
>>2076445
you seem to be in a stage where even simple ideas still have that fresh sparkle
>>
>>2076447
Lol get fucked
>>
>>2076419
>sloping top tube
Disgusting, top tube must be parallel to ground
>>
>>2076455
Queer
>>
>>2076419
>that cargo thing behind the saddle
that piece of shit can carry 15kg tops without bending. it a shit
>>
>>2076419
What a horrifically awful rack design. Could they seriously not spare the extra 5c of metal to attach it to the seatpost tube so it doesn't fall away onto the road after a season?

>bbbut its on the fneder !!!!
That will be constantly pinged with rock salt and road crud and bend out of shape, rust out if it's metal or crack if it's plastic, and is basically a wear part?
>>
>>2076419
Just focus on the IGH, and make sure it has proper cargo mount. It's going to be hard enought to find anything. Front suspension is a terrible choice for that bike.

Id go with a gravity swift 8.
>>
>>2076419
>unc brakes
>current year
Just get a modern hardtail mtb
>>
Bros i need a bike that compromises between simplicity, reliability, varied-terrain reggedness, performance, weight..etc
are the below specs feasible?
>Diamond Frame
>Front/Fork suspension only
>Front mechanical disc brake
>rear caliper brake
>7-12 speed single derueller or geared hub
and are there any such bikes?
>>
>>2076419
if you want a grandpa bike get something more like the anytour CS

...and picrel Bianchi C-Sport (not sure which C-sport model)
the Bianchi being almost double the price.
i live in a shitty turd world country with broken roads, and nonexistant bike infrastructure, so i greatly value simplicity, reliability, serviceability, practicality, and fun.
>>
>>2077175
It's feasible, but absolutely nothing off the shelf will mix brakes in that way. Give up and get whatever rear brake comes with ther system.

>Ceres
Near BSO level trash.
Aliexpress tier shifters and brakes.

>Bianchi C-sport.
Entry level hybrid regardless of trim. Trim means hydraulics vs mech disks and drivetrain tier.

I would skip the Ceres. The Bianchi has about a 15 percent euro asshole tax, and a nice green paint job.

I would aim for something near a old 90's MTB, or slightly more modern hardtail MTB, Entry level hardtail MTB with a tire change for whatever level of fucked your streets are.

Bianchi's good enough but the pretty celeste paint makes it theft bait.

Look around for other bikes, may be 10 percent less than the Bianchi.
>>
>>2077336
regarding the brakes, i'm happy with both front and rear mechanical discs.
>Look around for other bikes, may be 10 percent less than the Bianchi.
I have been looking around alot, problem is the choices are very limited in this ass country.
also i'm worried the Bianchi's wheels may not handle potholes, gravely roads, and my 100kg fatass.

>2000$ bike

>fucking rotary barrel shifters off a kids bike

also the grips are on the wrong way wtf
>>
>>2077343
Gripshifts are common on internal gear hubs
>>
>>2077350
grip shifters can be used on any sort of shifting setup and any shifting setup can choose not to use grip shifters. they are bad and ass in all cases and exist solely to let kids larp that they're riding a motorcycle with a twist throttle (which is itself based, but adults should be beyond that sort of imagination play)
>>
>>2077356
I think it's just what comes standard in the nexus groupset. I agree with you otherwise.
>>
TwistLoc on the left
Gripshift on the right
VROOM
>>
>>2077336
Is it possible to start with the Ceres then upgrade it with Shimano gear? Is it a good platform for customization?
>>
>>2077373
that's a losing strategy, sorry.
>>
>>2077178
that pannier design is a fucking mess. having to shell out ofr muh gates belt but using twist shifts. fenders attach in such a way you can't retrofit rim brakes. non-round structural tubing on what's supposed to be a cruiser bike cargo and accessories will be attached to. factory bar grips are on backwards. factory kickstand is adjustable instead of fitted; very cheap way to skimp on logistics/assembly. muh aero internal routing, but the internal routing is fake and it's just a plastic cover (ok I actually like this one tbqh, through the madness some wisdom shines forth)

i didn't know Giant was chinese. this is very chinese company "We noticed [THING] is popular now, let's just make a few and see how this goes!" kind of design from people who have seen [THING] once but don't have any institutional knowledge about it, but do have a legion of CNC welding machines and twelve operators each and another company that dropped a shift's worth of manufacturing time that's gotta get filled somehow
>>
Vsf Fahrrad Manufaktur makes bikes like this, although most are without front suspension, which you dont need in an urban or even rural environment.
>>
>>2077601
let me guess; picrel costs more than a BMW GS
>>
>>2077607
>pinion model is expensive

are you retarded?

>>2077610
anon, i just checked.
the bike costs like 5000 EUR
>>
>>2077611
No shit. If you're poor better stick to alfine
>>
>>2077607
did you pick their most expensive model to make a point or do you think they all cost like that? the pinion gearbox is extremely expensive but they make a lot of bikes with cues etc that go below €1000
