usecase?
realistic reliability and chances of failure?
>>
they are extremely reliable but they are for advanced users and the stock shifter sucks

I would venture to guess he means they're overkill for most people.
>>
I've got with probably over 100k mileage at this point. No issues whatsoever.

Fair. But then again if you have the money why not just buy nice things.
>>2079097
Same on a SG-C3001-7 so mhm
>>
>>2079120
oh sorry correction, I got more than 100k km on it, not miles as mileage might imply

Apparently reliable, met 2 separate people on the same tour where something stupid happened and theirs broke. Minimum 1 week of waiting time to get replacement parts within Europe.

I'm sure they are very reliable, and can easily be retrofitted to any bicycle, granted it's chain only. Maybe one day I will try it out, when I live out in the country side and don't freak out about theft.

I'm all for this. Overkill is fun sometimes.

op here, this is all i needed to know. if two broke on the same tour, then it is not fucking reliable, and the whole reliability marketing is just a scam.
>>
>>2079079
might be good for stocked trout and bluegills, not much else
