A thread to talk about this integral component.

Along with tyres a saddle is perhaps the most impactful upgrade you can make to a bike in terms of delivering immediate and noticeable improvements to comfort and ride quality.

I'll kick things off with a Brooks related question. Can anyone identify picrel?

It has B66 Champion stamped on the side, and is fitted with the old fashioned sprung dual rail system. However, the B66 has a width of 205 mm, whereas this saddle is 175 mm. More like a B17 on top. A conundrum indeed.

Well it's stamped b66 what do you want. Probably an old size they no longer offer. If you're made of money you could buy both saddles and just switch out the tops, IRC they're removable and interchangeable but don't take my word for it.

Anyone have any experience with SQLab saddles. Really want to get a 612 active 2.1 and a 611 infinergy active 2.1 for a road and backpacking rig respectively.
