anyone has any experience with the Ergotec Ladytown or Trekking handlebars? pics? i hate that they don't have pics of the bars on a bike. i'm looking for some 30-45 deg backswept bars with no upsweep (why the fuck would you have an up-sweep on a bar grip is beyond me) and minimal rise.

>>2082148I'm also curious about this bar shape. I'm doing a restoration of a GT Tachyon, I want to keep the original flip flop stem but it has a 26.0 clamp diameter. I don't like the feel of drop bars so my bar choice is pretty much limited to a few bars nitto offers to the alt cyclist crowd. I'm torn between these (pic is of the 31.8 bar clamp diameter), the Nitto x Crust Blitz, or Ron's Ortho Bar. Really curious what people think of these kind of bars.
I feel like the othro bar might feel a little too geriatric in riding feel and style.

Word to the wise. Just do what the mtb pioneers did and look at motorcycle bars. Of course they're a bit heavier but I went through it trying to find just what I wanted in a bike handlebar (close to what's in this thread) and when I finally went with a moto bar I was like "what was I waiting for, this isn't even bad." I do like the feel of steel on a big handlebar too, solid. I'm no weight weenie but I think about it and it's minor in the scheme of my bike...Search terms would be drag bar, sweep bar, moto bar, cafe bar, daytona bar, trials bar... emgo is a good company, they're $30-50. They go by 7/8" or 1" rather than the metricified 22.2 or 25.4 (ofc these are just the same thing)

But on the bright side you go on marketplace and you can get them for like $10.

These the paint waz peeling so I sand blasted them. These weigh a ton.
And lastly I had these. They were all decent budget bars but were really heavy.
