gas bike kits have one of the weirdest online scenes I've found, it's the typical hobbyist forum thing for sure but a lot of the guys (mainly boomers) are putting thousands into these builds that are fundamentally BSO cruisers and pot metal motors, many of them get way past the point where they could have restored a cool honda cub, or a puch moped or something, or even fabricated something really dope, yet that's almost frowned upon... people who do fabricate stuff with these kits pull off some super sick shit though.
