The larger fighter rubbed Basin’s sternum until he awoke and made a declaration.“Watch your f–king mouth Haole boy,” he told Basin, using a pejorative term islanders call white people. The Hawaii Democrat later went back for more after he told the man he would “go to jail.” But he stopped shy of an altercation with the man despite running at him and shouting, “Come on, b-tch!”Witnesses at the scene allege Basin told beachgoers he had a gun and pulled a knife on the man afterward.
