Dem Senate candidate El-Sayed defends ties to hate streamer Hasan Piker, hints at big tax increase for middle class as Dems continue to terrorize the US
https://nypost.com/2026/08/09/us-news/abdul-el-sayed-defends-ties-to-twitch-streamer-hasan-piker-hints-at-big-tax-increase-for-middle-class/

Dem Michigan Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed on Sunday refused to break ties to notorious hate streamer Hasan Piker — while hinting he wants to sock the middle class with the bill for his Medicare for All plan.

El-Sayed even left the door open to continuing to campaign with Piker in the pol’s general election matchup against Republican Mike Rogers — despite arguing that the notorious Twitch streamer’s 2019 comment that “America deserved 9/11” was dumb.

“It was a dumb statement,” El-Sayed told NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “He disavowed it. So yes. America didn’t deserve 9/11.

“But to sit here and play gotcha politics with a dumb thing somebody said out of context — I want to be held accountable for what I say and what I do rather than this idea that we’re so stuck in cancel culture that all of us agreed was a bad idea back in 2020,” the radical candidate said. “But we seem to want to bring back.”

Piker very begrudgingly suggested that his comment was “inappropriate” shortly after his screed against the US in 2019.

But he was later seen with a framed copy of a front-page newspaper story showing the Twin Towers in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, attack. More than 2,750 people, most Americans, died in New York City alone on the infamous day.

Piker has also sparked controversy for claiming that the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack was a “direct consequence” of Israeli actions and asserting that if the terror group engaged in rape, it “doesn’t change the dynamic for me.”
>>
El-Sayed stumped with Piker throughout his bruising primary race, which Rogers has since used as fodder for attack ads, tying him to the lefty streamer’s suggestion that the US deserved the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

“I’m less concerned now with who I’m campaigning with and a lot more concerned about who I’m campaigning to,” he said. “We’ve got a lot of work to do to continue to build the coalition that’s going to beat Mike Rogers.”

During the wide-ranging interview, El-Sayed also acknowledged that his Medicare for All proposal would likely cost middle-class taxpayers, despite his longstanding emphasis on taxing the wealthy more.

“So for the average person, when you look at your W2, if you’re an employee who gets paid every two weeks or four weeks, after you pay your taxes, the next biggest check that comes off the top of your pay stub is to your health-insurance company,” he said.

“Imagine instead of paying that to your health insurance company, whose CEO makes $20 million a year, instead you paid a little bit more in taxes for health care that you wouldn’t lose if you lost your job or turned 26 or got married or got divorced.

“I think that’s a trade that’s worth making.”

Medicare for All would cost between $2.5 trillion and $3.5 trillion annually on average over a decade in increased federal spending, according to a 2020 analysis from the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.

The cost of implementing the program today would likely be much higher.

El-Sayed’s proposals would have no co-pays or deductibles, which is much more comprehensive than Medicare, whose Hospital Insurance Trust Fund is already projected to go insolvent in the early 2030s.

That increased expansiveness would like push the price tag up even further than what has been estimated.

Conservative retards are pretty good at owning themselves, they don't need our help.

A reminder this is a fake news, and not creditable news site that shouldn't be allowed on /news/ because they were caught smearing Mamdani over 9/11 and instead of retracting the story and apologizing for their false reporting, they are now doubling down.
https://hiphopwired.com/3061256/ny-post-dragged-for-alleged-mamdani-9-11-story/

And the corporate media is running a cover up for them as well too.

It has also failed multiple other fact checks as well.

Indeed. Perhaps I've misinterpreted YOUR intent here. But we can help ourselves. We don't need or want daddy gubmint's help because our fathers raised us properly.

conservatives are voting to exterminate democrats who've been trying to destroy the world. Universal healthcare is better then privatized healthcare. The difference between the two is the price is either set by the government via taxes or a for profit corporation. Problem is it's never going to be properly managed.
Look at Canada, you don't die of debt in elbowsup land, you die in the waiting room and the prime minister's advertising the already taxed public heathcare as an immigration attraction.

>a certain party that represents the interests of white people
>a candidate in municipal elections that the leader of that party must have known about prior to said elections, thus approved of such
>said candidate wins a council seat in a city with a population that is 90% white

Imagine voting against your own interests to own a party more right-wing than the conservatives.
No wonder Labour beat the Conservatives - led by a jeet appointed by the white 1922 Committee - two years ago: then led by a white man, and now led by a white man.
>Farage is a good friend of Trump
>the latter leads a party that supposedly represents the interests of white people: who want immigrants removed

I love whenever the abuser logic of "Well if you weren't annoying we wouldn't have elected the pedophilic rapist who has completely corrupted the entire US government, so it's basically your fault we let him play us all like a fiddle."
>>
>>1528796
He literally beat everyone in your child-raping closeted faggot party. Ted Cruz could've stopped him. You stupid faggots respond to weak men trying to project power. If trump called cruz's wife a dog and Cruz walked across the debate stage and will-smithed him instead of sucking his nuts, he wouldn't have recovered.

He won because the richest man in the world bought the most popular social media platform and turned it into a propaganda machine, because he colluded with Russian assets to prevent a fair election, and because you fucking people voted for a known con-man who at this point has verifiably lied about everything he promised in his campaign, instead of a woman who outlined a plan to elevate the middle class with tax cuts in the same debate where she baited him into whining about his crowd size and raving about immigrants eating pets.

He literally, not figuratively, literally beat all of your politicians first, and you didn't vote to save yourself because you're not only a stupid racist faggot obsessed with other people's genitals, but you're objectively genetically inferior because you aren't competitive and need a literal genocide to have a chance. You should kill yourself.

>If you pieces of shits didn't exist trump wouldn't of won

>inb4 "grammar nazi", "context" etc
Of all the miggerals in /news/, the esl shill is the easiest to humiliate.
If Republicans who'd had enough of Trump didn't exist, Democrats wouldn't have won elections since late 2025. Especially a Democrat mayor winning in the area which includes Mar-a-Lago. But fortunately, they did. Unfortunately for subhuman miggers.
>wouldn't of
If a piece of shit such as you, with your inferior education had actually taken English classes, you wouldn't have become the constantly humiliated esl shill you always prove yourself to be.
Fun Fact: In WWII, the SOE presented Winston Churchill with a plan to assassinate Hitler. He vetoed that idea, because he saw that Hitler was the Allies' best asset in defeating the Wehrmacht, due to their Fuhrer being the retarded inferior subhuman it was, as it was a strategic failure. Thus Trump is the Democrats' best asset in the elimination of MAGA. First via political castration in the midterms via the Democrats controlling the Senate & HoR then two years later as there'll be a Democrat adminstration, and the miggers' failure of an orange subhuman taking that final trip on Marine One, thus Total MAGA Death.
>>
>>1528797
>you die in the waiting room
In very very few instances. There is always the option one can go private if they need the rare old person treatments. 95% of the time those are not needed and the majority of medical cases can be handled at a low price instead of astronomical prices.

>Medicare for All

I'm all for it, but it's not possible if the Dems continue flooding the country with bazillions of illegal alien migrants who come here to sponge off the system.
>>
>>1528825
Where do you people get this shit from?
>>
>>1528825
The illegals will come no matter who is in charge. Can't blame a political party. Immigration is an impossible to tackle issue, only legal naturalization is to a degree.

Also, as with any time one does not "go with the path of least resistance" the more one fights a problem the more the problem snowballs.

>>1528831
Its not impossible to tackle. Shoot them in the face until people stop coming. Humans are very risk averse, it only takes a few thousand deaths to set a standard.
>>
>>1528844
>Shoot them in the face until people stop coming.
Literally this has never worked. Ever. When your choices are between certain death and a chance at starting a better life, the threat of potentially getting shot isn't that effective a deterrent since it's the alternative anyway.

>inb4 Poland
Poland still has to deal with regular waves of illegal immigrants even with their strict immigration policy.
>>
>>1528845
Its not supposed to be the THREAT of getting shot, its supposed to be actually getting shot. Dead people are dead. No amount of money, political clout or bitching is going to put your head back together after that. It objectively, permanently, removes one (1) potential economic migrant every time you do it. Moving them around does nothing to reduce the numbers of people trying to migrate. Killing them does. You continue this until all of the economic migrants, all the people in the world who feel a need to move to another nation in order to latch onto its economy like a bloodsucking leech because their own country cannot sustain them, are dead. Once they're all dead, there are no more migrants. Simple as.

The operative problem is that people stop short of killing all of them. You have to keep going until the task is actually done.
