The man said that the other driver hit him five or six times with the hammer before he was able to take it away from him. The other driver sped off. EMS was called to the scene to treat the man, but he refused to go to the hospital.Officers were able to identify the other driver by pulling up his registration and matching the driver’s description. The hammer was logged as evidence.
