Dems now paying people to listen to their bullshit.

Texas Dem group allegedly ‘paying’ for votes, operative claims in undercover video: ‘Shady as f–k’

https://nypost.com/2026/09/16/us-news/texas-dem-group-allegedly-paying-for-votes-operative-claims-in-undercover-video-shady-as-f-k/

Texas Democrats have allegedly found a “roundabout” way to pay for votes in the critical Senate and governor’s races, according to an undercover video published Wednesday.

A Democratic operative with Texas Majority PAC admitted in the new footage released by the conservative outlet Townhall that the group is shelling out $25 per person for attendance at Zoom classes that discuss “bad things” Republicans are doing.

“We are paying people $25 to attend a one-hour Zoom class to learn why voting is important and why the Republicans are causing all of these bad things,” said Sky MacAdams, an organizing manager for Texas Majority PAC.

“So it’s like a roundabout way of paying people for their votes, essentially,” he added, calling the move a bit of a “gray” area.

Federal law prohibits payments in exchange for voting or not voting for certain candidates, with violators potentially facing up to two years in prison.

The paid relational program, as its known, compensates low-propensity voters “for their time as they reach, persuade, and mobilize their friends and family to vote,” according to the website for Relentless, a political consulting firm.

The paid relational program, as its known, compensates low-propensity voters “for their time as they reach, persuade, and mobilize their friends and family to vote,” according to the website for Relentless, a political consulting firm.

The group paid $500,000 to Relentless for its Relational Organizing Program in May of this year, according to a state campaign finance report.

It’s spent more than $2.4 million in 2026 helping to mobilize voters for statewide, US House and the US Senate contests.

President Trump was also accused of trying to buy votes in the midterm elections by promising $5,000 dividend checks if Republicans maintain control of both chambers of Congress.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) accused Trump of “trying to bribe the American people for their votes” after the president announced his intention at the Republican midterm convention in Dallas last week.

Texas Senate Democratic candidate James Talarico called the Trump checks an “election year stunt.”

Talarico’s opponent and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has accused the Democratic challenger of doing the same after the Texas Majority PAC scheme surfaced.

Its honestly a little bit fascinating that the Dems are so committed to foreign labor as their sole source of grift that they're not willing to give on the singular issue that got Trump elected twice. Like, seriously, just kick all the browns, blacks and asians out of the party and start running on Democrat-but-white auspices and you'd have 90% of the (remaining) vote overnight. Its not complicated.

>Biden owes you $10,000-20,000.
President Joe Biden’s broad-scale student loan forgiveness plans faced major legal defeats, though the administration still canceled billions through targeted existing programs
The Supreme Court Ruling
Initial Plan Blocked: In June 2023, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down Biden's landmark $400 billion plan to cancel up to $20,000 in debt per borrower.
Legal Grounds: The 6-3 ruling in Biden v. Nebraska found that the administration overstepped its authority under the HEROES Act without explicit congressional approval.

The SAVE Plan and Subsequent Legal Challenges
The Pivot: After the Supreme Court decision, the administration introduced the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) plan to lower monthly payments and accelerate forgiveness.
Program Termination: Following ongoing legal challenges from Republican-led states, federal courts and subsequent administrative actions ultimately blocked and ordered an end to the SAVE plan, forcing millions of borrowers to transition to alternative repayment options. Further broad-scale attempts through the Higher Education Act were also struck down by appellate courts.

What Still Succeeded
Targeted Relief: Despite the cancellation of widespread programs, the administration utilized existing frameworks like Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) and income-driven repayment adjustments.
Total Forgiveness: Through these smaller, approved actions, the administration successfully cancelled nearly $189 billion in federal student debt for over 5 million qualifying borrowers.

So basically the supreme court and Republican-led states owe everyone 10 to 20k.

esl shill, you know congress voted down student loan forgiveness. which, by the way, cost less money than the current war in iran or munitions to israel

Meanwhile Trump can do whatever the fuck he wants and Congress might as well not exist.
>>
>>1537426
Biden’s broad student-loan cancellation was always vulnerable to a Supreme Court challenge because it attempted a massive fiscal transfer without clear statutory authority from Congress, colliding with the constitutional “power of the purse.”
Core constitutional and statutory problem

Article I gives Congress the power of the purse: the authority to raise revenue, appropriate funds, and decide major spending or debt-disposition questions. Canceling hundreds of billions in federal student loans is the functional equivalent of spending (or forgoing) public money. The executive does not get to write that check unilaterally.
The administration relied primarily on the HEROES Act of 2003. That statute lets the Education Secretary waive or modify student-loan provisions in connection with a national emergency (originally post-9/11 military mobilizations). It was never designed, and its text does not clearly authorize, a sweeping, multi-hundred-billion-dollar debt-cancellation program for tens of millions of ordinary borrowers. Courts treat “major questions” (large economic or political significance) as requiring clear congressional authorization; ambiguous language is not enough.

In short, the constitutional allocation of spending power plus the absence of clear statutory language made a Supreme Court showdown the predictable outcome of attempting large-scale cancellation by executive action alone. Congress could have authorized broader relief; it did not, and the executive’s attempt to do so anyway triggered the normal constitutional check.

Joe Biden's plan to cancel up to $20,000 in student loan debt for federal aid borrowers is expected to cost about $400 billion, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

The estimate is for a period of the next 30 years and will add to the country's deficit, it said.

Additionally, the pause on federal student loan repayments cost $20 billion from September to December 2022, the agency said.
Here's a quote from the Congressional Budget Office on how much it would cost.

>The estimate is for a period of the next 30 years and will add to the country's deficit, it said.
Trump added nearly 8 trillion to the country's deficit in his first term alone. It's reached 40 trillion in his second term. A quarter of that is from Trump.

The funny thing is Republicans have surrendered so much power of the purse within the last two years any Dem could probably just force it through with the same logic as most of Trump's bullshit. Just declare it a national emergency and suddenly it's executive jurisdiction.

And yes, this is bullshit and in complete violation of the spirit of the constitution. Maybe we shouldn't be letting the President just hijack the power of the purse and completely subvert the balance of powers? But that would require an uncompromised SC at minimum.

Are you talking about Biden wanting to forgive 10k-20k of student debt? Cool. So he just lied and never even tried right? How evil.
What's that? He wrote the legislation? The right wing supreme court struck it down? Interesting. Because that would make you a disingenuous dipshit.
But you're right to bring up that if his conditions are somehow met and righty retards hang on to every branch of government, it will be be his fault when you don't get the money, the same way you didn't get it last time. Just like it was his fault you didn't get the $10-20k, because he stacked the supreme court.
So I'll take the $20k, with a side of get BTFO connie closet case.
